Registration Begins at 9:00 AM and Ends at 9:50 AM. You can bring your completed release/waiver form or you can fill it out when you get here.

UPCOMING EVENT:
We have an upcoming field trip to the Tiger Woods Learning Center (click on link for information about the Center) on August 02, 2008.
Here is the Agenda for the day:
9:00 AM-9:15 AM ——–Orientation
9:30 AM-11:30 AM ——-Clinic
11:30 AM-12:00 PM —–Wrap Up
12:00 PM – 12:45 ———Lunch
1:00 PM ——-We Depart from Facility
The buses will be leaving the Academy promptly at 8:15 AM to the Tiger Woods Learning Center, if you sign up your child for this event, you have to be here on time and be able to attend.
Kids between the ages 9 to 14 are invited to attend. Parents can also attend. Parents and observers will the Lounge/Patio areas to stay and observe activities.

Anthony Gose, Signs contract with Philadelphia Phillies At The Urban Youth Academy
Friday June 20, 2008 Anthony Gose’s dream became reality on Friday afternoon, when he signed his first professional baseball contract.
Taken in the second round (51st overall) of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft by the Phillies, and signing his contract at the Major League Baseball’s Urban Youth Academy.
“It’s a great feeling,” Gose said. “It’s pretty hard to explain, but I am ready to get started with my baseball career.”
Anthony has worked as a Junior Coach for the Urban Youth Academy for over a year. We are very happy for him. He is a wonderful coach and we are sure he is going to be a wonderful Major League Player!!

Aaron Hicks will sign his contract tomorrow Friday June 13, 2008 at The Urban Youth Academy at 2pm (pacific time).
MLB.com will be sending a reporter and photographer — Mike Scarr and Ben Platt — out to cover the signing.

As of today, June 3, 2008, we are no longer accepting applications for Boys Ages 7-11, June 23rd-June 27th Group.
Registrations are closed for that age group.
We are still accepting registrations for the girls 7-11, June 23rd-June 27th Group though.
