Bryana Simpson Signs Letter of Intent with Concordia University

Bryana Simpson, a softball player, signed her official letter of intent at the Urban Youth Academy tomorrow, December 5th, 2008 at 4:30pm.

The Daily Breeze Newspaper was on hand to cover the event. This is part of the article written about Bryana:

“San Pedro softball player Bryana Simpson will sign a national letter of intent with Concordia University, an NAIA school in Irvine, on Dec. 5 in a signing ceremony at the Urban Youth Academy in Compton. Simpson, a speedy outfielder, also had offers from Marist and Howard University, but decided on Concordia because of the small-school Christian atmosphere and the fact it is considered an NAIA power. “It was so close to home and I loved it,” Simpson said. “It’s a Christian school, everyone was so nice there and I felt really safe there. I liked the small community. It felt homey.”
