2012 Softball Toys for Christmas Tournament

Here is an update for out tournament, I have also attached a photo from yesterday.

“The Urban Youth Academy Softball Program has hosted its First Annual “12U Softball Toys for Christmas Tournament.” Four 12U teams enlisted in the tournament, with two days of competition. Our very own “UYA Flavors” finished the first day of competition with a 2-0 record. Our own “Academy” team fought back from a 0-2 start and beat the No. 1 seeded “Rosemead Angels” to compete in the Championship Game. “Academy” fell short in a 3-2, extra loss to “Full Throttle” from Alhambra. We would like to congratulate “Full Throttle” as well all the competing teams for participating in our first annual tournament!

Next weekend The Urban Youth Academy Softball Program will host its 4th Annual “High School Tots for Christmas Tournament”! We have 8 teams enlisted to compete:

2. Hollywood High

3. Long Beach Jordan

4. Marshall High

5. LA High

6. Cabrillo

7. Dominguez

8. Roosevelt High
