IN JAPAN-USA YOUTH BASEBALL EXHIBITION SERIES 2012
AUG. 21-22 AT MLB URBAN YOUTH ACADEMY IN COMPTON

Former Dodgers All-Star pitcher bringing 15-under squad to Southern California;
Team managed by former Angels reliever Shigetoshi Hasegawa also will participate

Former Dodgers Rookie of the Year and All-Star pitcher Hideo Nomo, who threw two no-hitters while pitching for the Dodgers in 1996 and the Boston Red Sox in 2001, will manage an All-Japan 15-U team against the MLB Urban Youth Academy USA team in the Japan-USA Youth Baseball Exhibition Series 2012 at the MLB Urban Youth Academy. The USA team will be managed by former Angels relief pitcher Shigetoshi Hasegawa. Tickets priced at $10 per game, free for children 12 and under, are available by calling 310-373-4888 or by email at office@jerc.org. Proceeds will be used to help fund a trip by a USA youth team to Japan in 2013.
