We would like to thank all the young men and all the young ladies who attended the Academy today from the Compton Unified School District, members of the Young Scholars Program. We had a lot of fun teaching them the game of baseball. The kids had tons of fun and we were very happy with their visit. We hope it’s not the last. A big thank you to the teachers and chaperones who also attended. Another big thank you to the members of the Compton College Baseball Team who served as the instructors for the kids. The Academy Staff thanked the kids after the clinic by providing pizza for everyone.
